About Daily Grind Espresso and reviews

Learn about who we are and why we love being a part of the Palouse community.

Daily Grind Espresso was established in 1995 as a drive-thru coffee chain right here in Pullman, WA. Founded by Charlene Jasper, her dream was to provide Pullman locals with tasty, gourmet coffee on their daily commute.

Once the business was established and growing, Charlene wished to branch out from the drive-thru locations and give residents a place to gather with friends and family and relax in a warm, inviting environment that offered delicious coffee and a delectable breakfast or lunch. With the addition of The Daily Grind Coffeehouse, locals could enjoy Daily Grind coffee at their own leisure or on the go, finally providing customers with the first full-service coffee company on the Palouse.

On March 1st of 2013, Charlene passed the company over to new owners, Tami and Dana Dykes. With fresh eyes and new ideas, they plan to take The Daily Grind to the next level! Tami and Dana have already begun to make the business feel like home and are in the works to continue improving and expanding on this Pullman favorite.

Great little coffee shop with a view of the lift bridge. Love the small town feel and excellent grinds. If you’re looking to get a read on what’s going on locally, this is a great place to go. The food is okay, however this is...

I stopped here one morning to pick up a sandwich to take with me to our family farm as I was going to be working all day. I thought the Daily Grind would be a great place.I went in and ordered a sandwich that...

Wonderful combination of delicious and creative coffees. Also had their delicious chicken salad sandwich (with sriracha sauce and pickled onions. This great offering surrounded by books. Located near the old bridge in historic downtown Stillwater.

This is my go-to spot in downtown Stillwater for coffee, tea, pastries, light breakfast sandwiches, etc. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

Great little coffee shop attached to a book store. Coffee was delicious and the atmosphere was great.

My favorite place to get chai tea in all of Stillwater. Staff is super friendly and their prices are reasonable.

My wife and I wanted to walk around Stillwater so we ordered Americanos to help us do so. The flavor of the coffee was great and the price was pretty good (.50 each as I recall). We saved our cups and about 45 minutes later...

Noticed the Daily Grind when we entered Stillwater & made a metal note for in the morning, was NOT sorry, excellent iced coffee, great flavors to choose from and very friendly people. Will for sure go back!

We loved the coffee and breakfast sandwiches that the Daily Grind had to offer but were disappointed with the lack of indoor seating. Great place to grab breakfast or a coffee if you want to eat outside or take it to go.
